Cashbook accounts overview
See all bank accounts and cash boxes of your club with current balance, banking status and last transactions at a glance.
Diese Funktion ist nur im Web verfügbar.
What is this?
The Accounts overview shows all bank accounts and cash boxes belonging to your club, each with current balance, banking connection status and quick access to recent transactions. Here you manage which money stores you keep in Chorilo — e.g. the main giro account, a savings account, the cash box for concert tickets at the door or a PayPal account.
In the overview you see per account:
- Name and account type (bank, cash, other)
- Current balance in euro
- Banking status — connected, not connected, connection expiring
- Date of last synchronization
- Number of open reconciliation tasks
How to use the accounts overview
- Open Administration > Cashbook > Accounts.
- Click an account to open the detail view with all entries.
- Click New account to add another bank account or cash box.
- Filter by type if you only want to see bank accounts or only cash boxes.
- Click Bank connections at the top right to manage your PSD2 connections.
What the symbols mean
- Green banking symbol — PSD2 connection active, automatic sync running
- Yellow warning symbol — connection expires in the next 14 days, please renew
- Red symbol — connection expired or sync error
- No symbol — manually managed account or cash box without banking connection
Permission
To view you need View cashbook. Creating or editing accounts requires Create & edit transactions.
Tips
- Create as few accounts as necessary — one Chorilo account per real bank account. Special funds like "Concert donation box" only make sense if you really want to track them separately.
- Connect your giro account via PSD2 as soon as you use the cashbook. That saves manual entry of all bank transactions and makes bookkeeping much easier.
- Keep an eye on the banking status — an expired connection must be renewed within a few days, otherwise automatic sync stops.
