Open media album

What is this?

When opening a media album you see all photos and videos as a gallery and can view them individually at full size, read descriptions and download them. So you dive into the memories of concerts, trips and parties.

In the mobile app you use swipe gestures to flip through, in the web you use clicks or arrow keys. Videos start when tapped or clicked.

How to open an album

1. Go to the "Media" area (web) or the "Media" tab (app).
2. Click or tap the desired album.
3. You see all media as a gallery — neatly arranged.
4. Click an item to see it at full size or play a video.
5. Use the arrow keys or swipe gestures to flip through the media.
6. Description and date appear below or next to the item.

What you can do in the album view

• Enlarge an item and view it at full resolution or play it
• Download an item for printing or your own collection
• Read the caption — who and what is shown
• Edit album (with permission) — change title or visibility
• Upload media (with permission) — add new items
• Delete item (with permission) — remove unsuitable content

Permission

You need View media albums to open albums. This permission is held by all members by default. For editing and uploading you additionally need Create & edit albums & media.

Tips

• Use the arrow keys in the web to flip through a large album quickly.
• Download special favorite items for your own memory collection — directly from the detail view.
• Send an item to choir mates via chats or notifications — just copy the link from the address bar.
